Keyword Research
Hundreds of keyword ideas + REAL Google volume + quick-win opportunities.
What it is
Keyword Research takes a seed keyword (e.g. 'leather bags') and returns hundreds of related search terms with: monthly search volume (real Google data via DataForSEO for the top-25), keyword difficulty (0-100), cost-per-click (a proxy for commercial intent), and a 'Golden' badge for keywords with high volume + low difficulty + high CPC. It also includes two GSC-powered cards: 'Your keywords on Google' (real performance data from Search Console) and 'Quick-win keywords' (queries you already rank #11-20 for with high impressions — the easiest wins in SEO).
Why it matters
You can write the best article in the world, but if nobody searches for the topic, it generates zero traffic. Keyword research tells you where the demand IS before you spend time creating content. The 'Quick-wins' card especially: pushing a keyword from position #14 to #5 typically gives you 5-10× more clicks, with no new content needed.
How to use it (step-by-step)
Follow these in order. Each step is 30 seconds to 2 minutes.
- 1
Enter a seed keyword
Pick the country (Global = worldwide volume), type a broad term, click Research.
- 2
Review the results table
Sort by Volume, Difficulty, or CPC. Click the 'Golden' filter to see only the best opportunities.
- 3
Connect Google Search Console
(Optional but powerful) In Settings → Google. Then on this page, link the project to your verified GSC property. Two new cards appear with REAL data from your site.
- 4
Read the Quick-wins card
Page-2 keywords (positions #11-20) with high impressions. These are golden — fix the on-page targeting + add one internal link from a strong page = often jumps to page 1 in weeks.
- 5
Cluster keywords by topic
Once you have 10+ keywords, the AI clustering button groups them into 4-10 semantic themes — one article per cluster, instead of one per keyword.
Pro tips
- →Top-25 results have real DataForSEO data (labelled 'real'). The rest are autocomplete-based estimates. Don't write off the rest — they're directionally right, just less precise.
- →Difficulty 0-30 = pretty easy if your domain has any authority. 30-60 = realistic 3-6 month plays. 60+ = years of work or skip.
- →High CPC + low difficulty = commercial gold. Advertisers pay for those clicks because they convert.
- →Each research is saved as a session. Old sessions stay accessible — useful for tracking what you've already explored.
How we compare
Honest comparison — where we win and where the big tools win.
vs. Ahrefs Keywords Explorer
Ahrefs has the bigger database but starts at $129/mo. We use DataForSEO (same underlying data Ahrefs uses) at a fraction of the cost, with cost-caps so heavy users don't blow up the bill.
vs. SEMrush
SEMrush is comparable on data; we add: AI clustering, GSC opportunity finder, and per-session history so old researches don't bleed into new ones.
vs. Free tools (Ubersuggest, Keyword Tool)
Free tools give you ideas but no real Google volume data and no GSC integration. You'd be flying blind.
