Refund & Cancellation Policy

The short version

  • Every account starts with a 7-day free Pro trial — no card required, so you can try before you ever pay.
  • Cancel anytime from Settings → Billing in two clicks. No emails to send, no hoops.
  • 7-day money-back guarantee on your first paid subscription — not happy, full refund.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. We email you a receipt every time.

1. Free trial

New accounts get a 7-day free trial of the Pro plan with no credit card required. If you do nothing, the trial simply ends and your account reverts to no plan — you are never charged automatically from a trial.

2. Subscriptions & automatic renewal

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly cycle, depending on the option you choose at checkout. The price and billing frequency are shown clearly before you confirm payment.

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each cycle at the same price, until you cancel. We send a receipt by email for every charge. If a renewal price ever changes, we notify you by email at least 30 days in advance.

3. How to cancel

You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing, or by emailing support@outerank.com. When you cancel:

  • You keep full access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
  • You are not billed again — the automatic renewal stops immediately.
  • No cancellation fees, ever.

4. Refunds

First subscription — 7-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied within the first 7 days of your first paid charge, email support@outerank.com and we'll refund that payment in full, no questions asked.

Yearly plans. Annual subscriptions can be refunded within 14 days of the initial charge. After 14 days, an annual plan can be cancelled to stop future renewals, but the current year is non-refundable.

Renewals & later periods. Beyond the windows above, payments for the current billing period are non-refundable, because the Service was available to you for that period. You can still cancel to avoid future charges.

Exceptional cases. If you were charged in error, charged twice, or experienced a prolonged outage, contact us — we'll always make it right.

5. AI credit top-ups

Credit top-up packs are consumable digital goods. Credits you have already spent on AI actions (articles, audits, real keyword data, etc.) cannot be refunded, since the underlying work was already performed and paid out to our providers. Unused top-up credits can be refunded within 14 days of purchase if you request it. Included plan credits that reset each cycle have no cash value and are not refundable.

6. EU/UK consumers — right of withdrawal

As Outerank is a digital service supplied immediately, by starting to use the Service during the statutory 14-day withdrawal period you request that we begin at once and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal ends once the Service has been fully provided. This does not affect the money-back guarantee in section 4, which we offer voluntarily.

7. How refunds are issued

Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method through our payment processor (Stripe). Depending on your bank, the funds typically appear within 5–10 business days.

8. Chargebacks

Please email us first — almost every billing issue is resolved within hours. Opening a chargeback before contacting us may lead to your account being suspended while the dispute is investigated.
