Site Audit
60+ technical SEO checks + AI-written fixes for every issue we find.
What it is
Site Audit crawls your homepage (and key linked pages) and runs 60+ checks across five categories: SEO basics, page speed, mobile-friendliness, security, and general health. Each issue comes with a severity label and an AI-generated fix that explains exactly what to change and why.
Why it matters
Google ranks pages on roughly 200 signals. Most non-technical owners only fix the 3 things their developer remembers. Site Audit surfaces the silent killers — missing meta descriptions, broken schema, slow LCP, mixed content warnings — that quietly tank your rankings for months. Fix these first; everything else (content, links) compounds on top of a clean foundation.
How to use it (step-by-step)
Follow these in order. Each step is 30 seconds to 2 minutes.
- 1
Pick a project
Use the project selector in the page header. Each project is one website you're tracking.
- 2
Click 'Run audit'
We crawl your site live (~30 seconds). You get back five scores (Health, SEO, Speed, Mobile, Security) plus a categorized issue list.
- 3
Read the 'Real Core Web Vitals' card
Powered by Google PageSpeed Insights — these are the speed numbers Google actually uses to rank you (Field Data) plus a single Lighthouse run (Lab Data) for debugging.
- 4
Tap any issue → AI fix
Claude writes a plain-English fix tailored to YOUR page. First fix is generated live; we cache it so re-opens are instant. Regenerate cooldown depends on your plan (Pro: 24h, Agency: anytime).
- 5
Re-run weekly
Track the trend on the dashboard. Health score going up + critical issues going down = you're shipping the right work.
Pro tips
- →If your speed score swings ±15 between runs even though nothing changed, that's network jitter. We already use a 3-sample median to stabilize — but a single fluky reading can still tilt it. Trust the trend, not any one audit.
- →Don't try to fix everything at once. The audit sorts issues by severity for a reason. Tackle Critical → Warning → Info, in order.
- →After fixing a Critical issue, re-run the audit to verify the fix landed. Google won't re-crawl for 1-3 weeks, but the audit will tell you immediately.
How we compare
Honest comparison — where we win and where the big tools win.
vs. Ahrefs Site Audit
Ahrefs crawls deeper (every page) but costs $129/mo and doesn't generate AI fixes per issue. We crawl the high-impact entry points and write the fix for you.
vs. Screaming Frog
Frog gives you a giant CSV — you still need to know what each issue means. We tell you exactly what to do.
